Making sure our guests settle in nice and easily is exactly what we aim for at Summerbreeze. And once you’re here, we’ve got a range of facilities for you to make use of. From an outdoor play area for kids to let off some steam, to central heating to keep your cottage extra toasty, we’ve got everything you need for a fulfilling break.

An easy arrival
After booking your stay, you’ll receive a stack of useful information to make your arrival as slick and smooth as possible. We’ll give you the gate code for our secure, peaceful grounds and you can rock up to our private carpark. If you have difficulty walking or have heavy bags, you can drive down to the cottages. Our quiet location has limited light pollution, so if you’re arriving at night, you might want a torch or use a phone light.

At home with the animals
Kids love feeding our resident rabbits Muffin, Rosy and Peter. We also have some friendly hens – Betty, Hettie, Princess Lay-a, Dora (the eggs-plorer), Fluffy, and Elsa – who rein freely at Summerbreeze. And at the very bottom of our grounds stands our bug hotel. Or as we like to say, our very own Air Bee & Bee. It’s the ideal space for kids to spot creepy crawlies and sink into nature.
oUTDOOR PLAY
For running, exploring and getting creative
Our playground, located directly opposite the cottages, is the perfect place to let the kids loose. They can jump on the swings, scramble their way up climbing logs, enjoy a ride on our vintage tractor, or let their imagination go wild in our mud kitchen. On wet days, our wendy house is a great spot for kids to escape to. Our equipment is inspected regularly but is used at your own risk.

Nothing feels better than settling into your cosy cottage after a long day. To keep you feeling nice and homely, our modern cottages are all centrally heated and kept at an inviting temperature throughout the day and night. If any of our guests would like their temperature adjusted, we can do this in seconds at a touch of a button.
