The perfect family day out
Moors Valley is our number one recommendation if you have children! It’s just 10 minutes away from Summerbreeze Orchard and packed with fun and adventurous activities! There is a play trail through the forest that’s around a mile long, so suitable for all ages, with a snake pit, crocodile crossing and tree top trail.
fun for all kids
Adventure Playgrounds
There are two adventure playgrounds to choose from. One is aimed at older children and has a zip slide, climbing boulder, a long tube slide and more. The other playground will keep younger kids on their toes with its swings, slides and sand area (don’t forget to bring a bucket and spade!).

Mountain bikes are available to hire in all sizes, as well as child seats, trailers and tag-a-longs – perfect if you’re planning a visit with tiny tots in tow! Cycle Hire

Go Ape & Segway
Explore the Moors Valley from a unique angle by heading up to the treetops for a Go Ape adventure. There’s zip wires, scramble nets, wobbly bridges and more to explore. Or, why not book one of their hour-long off road segway rides? It’s the most fun way to explore the woods!
fun for all the family
Steam Railway
All aboard! Hop onto Moor Valley’s authentic steam train. The miniature narrow gauge railway journeys just over a mile across the moors. The railway is currently open every day until mid September, although they also hold lots of special events throughout the year.
