Frequently Asked Questions

No. It’s a 15-minute drive, or takes a good hour on the bike but you couldn’t walk, sorry.

Durdle Door is a one-hour drive away but worth it. I’d also recommend either taking your hiking boots to walk along the coast or a swimming costume to have a swim in the bay next door. Or, Lulworth Cove is a little further along from this. Remember to look out for fossils!

When you leave Summerbreeze Orchard, turn left and walk down the road half a mile. As the road naturally bends round to the right, you'll see you could turn left up Foxbury Road but don't do that. As the road bents round to the right, nearly immediately on the right is an access point into the forest, (if you pass the dog kennel, you've gone too far). Walk into the woods and follow the path which will take you into a clearing. Turn right and follow the pylons for just over a mile. On the right, you'll pass a wooden bridge which is a public footpath taking you back on to Wayside Road. The total distance is 2.5km and takes 20 minutes to walk.
