Your questions

Frequently Asked Questions

We really enjoy the Moors Valley. There is something for everyone and it's a relatively low-cost outing for half a day of fun.

Turn left and run down the road half a mile. As the road naturally bends round to the right, you'll see you could turn left up Foxbury Road but dont do that. As the road bents round to the right, nearly immediately on the right is an access point into the forest, (if you pass the dog kennel, you've gone too far). Run into the woods and follow the path which will take you into a clearing.

From here, you can choose 2.5km, 5km or 10 km depending how deep into the forest you want to go. For a 2.5km, turn right and follow the pylons. On the right, you'll pass a wooden bridge which is a public footpath taking you back on to Wayside Road. If you go deeper into the forest, just look out for the pylons to take you back to the cottages.

There is so much to see and do, so we recommend a week as a minimum.
