Farmer Palmer in Dorset

A family favorite in Dorset. A working farm with over 400 animals, feed the goats, hold a guinea pig, racing pigs, a playground, a dinosaur trail, a bumpy tractor ride, a deer safari, go-karts, bouncy castles, hay bale climbing, water playground and woodland walk.
Farmer Palmer Dorset

Farmer Palmer is an absolute family favorite. They say it’s for under 8 years old but actually, there is no age limit, everyone loves it. There is plenty to see and do and the adults have just as much fun as the kids. It’s a working farm with over 400 large and small animals, but inside the barn, it’s possible to feed the goats, hold a guinea pig, and get up close and personal to many of the larger animals. There are indoor and outdoor activities, racing pigs, a playground, a dinosaur trail, a bumpy tractor ride, a deer safari, and the go-karts are my favorite (although the competition can be fierce between Mum and Dad racing down the straight towards the finish line), bouncy castles, hay bale climbing, water playground, woodland walk. So much for them to do!

TOP TIP … it’s popular with the locals and tourists, and you can easily stay all day here but have a look online for the best discounted ticket prices.

Lots to do all year round, pumpkin picking or the Farmer Christmas experience is magical.

I’m not sure how many times I’ve been, it must be over 30 times with the children as they’ve grown up and I’ve enjoyed it every time. Thumbs up from me.
